Introducing Knyt — Business Software Built for Ireland

By Knyt Team

Irish businesses have been underserved by business software for too long. Global platforms bolt on Irish compliance as an afterthought. Local tools solve one piece of the puzzle but leave you juggling five different products.

Knyt takes a different approach.

What is Knyt?

Knyt is a platform of five business tools, each built specifically for Irish regulatory compliance:

  • Knyt Accounts — FRS 102 compliant accounting with Irish VAT management and Companies Act 2014 record retention
  • Knyt Payroll — PAYE, PRSI, and USC calculations using current Revenue rates with ROS integration
  • Knyt Meet — Appointment scheduling with online payments and automated reminders
  • Knyt Messages — Email, SMS, and WhatsApp messaging from a single API
  • Knyt Connect — Workflow automation connecting your existing tools

Why another business platform?

Because none of the existing options are built for Ireland from the ground up.

Xero is excellent accounting software — adapted from New Zealand. QuickBooks comes from the US. Sage started in the UK. They all support Irish compliance, but it's always an adaptation, never the foundation.

Knyt starts with Irish law and works outward. FRS 102 isn't a checkbox — it's how the chart of accounts is structured. PAYE/PRSI/USC calculations aren't adapted from UK rates — they're implemented directly from Revenue specifications.

What makes Knyt different?

One platform, not five products. Every Knyt product shares one login, one dashboard, and one source of truth. No CSV exports between systems. No duplicate data entry. No reconciliation headaches.

Compliance built in. Irish VAT rates, Revenue ROS submissions, Companies Act record retention, and GDPR encryption — these aren't add-ons or premium features. They're how every product works by default.

Secure by default. All PII is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Audit trails are tamper-proof. Data stays in the EU. Multi-tenant isolation is enforced at the database level.
